TEAR DROP - Perfect for over all blending use the wider bottom on wider areas of the face, like your cheeks and forehead. The smaller are can be used for eye creases and harder to reach areas. 

OLIVE SHAPED (FLAT BASED) - This one is perfect for target all the smaller areas of the face, use its tips for those smaller areas. For things like blush, highlighter or bronzer you can roll the sponge on its side along the desired area. 

PEAR SHAPED - This classic shape can be used just like the teardrop shape, but with and easier to grip shape providing precise control. Use the wide bottom on bigger areas of the face and the smaller tip on hard to reach places.
